Classes: Breastfeeding: Starting Out
Right Breastfeeding your baby is a wonderful gift that only you can
give. It’s the best nutrition for your baby and also has important
health benefits for you. This class is divided into two sessions.
The first session discusses how to get off to a good start, right
in the hospital. The second session is practical advice for
successful breastfeeding the first weeks, and includes information
on selection of an effective breast pump and preparing to return to
work or school. Attempt to attend both in the same
month.

EdenWay Birth is the private midwifery practice of Charlotte Russell, CPM, LM (TX) and offers homebirth, birth center birth, prenatal, postpartum and newborn care to mothers in far east Texas and northern Louisiana, including Marshall, Carthage, Shreveport, Bossier, Nacogdoches, and Texarkana. EdenWay Birth practices according to The Midwives Model of Care and believes in the body’s God-given ability to grow, nourish, and birth a baby. We specialize in the supervision—not “management”—of normal pregnancies and births.
